Poke bowl originates from Hawaii and has generated great internet sensations. It is similar to raw fish salad or inside out sushi bowl. Ahi is yellow fin tuna in Hawaiian. Ahi is commonly found in Hawaii thus traditional poke bowl often involves marinated tuna. Nowadays, spin offs including the substitution of tuna with salmon or tofu. I added avocado and brown rice to complete the poke bowl. I also drizzle the bowl with homemade spicy mayo to spice up the taste.
